It takes about 15 minutes from New Chitose Airport by car. It is one of the few courses in Japan that uses all bent grass. The course was designed by Isao Aoki, a professional golfer. The course is a combination of Scottish traditions and the latest American techniques, and features a flat, natural layout with a 5-meter difference in elevation. The course is surrounded by eight ponds and the final three holes are water signature holes. The 16th is an impressive par 3 with an island green surrounded by water. The 17th will force you to choose between using a driver and a short iron for the second shot or chopping it to keep the fairway in place. The 18th is This is a long hole where a long hitter can reach the green in 2. However, it is a dramatic final hole with water waiting in front of the green. The restaurant boasts a menu that uses ingredients from Hokkaido. The chef’s recommendation is the “Hokkaido Beef Steak Weight”. You can enjoy a hearty meal of Hokkaido sirloin steak.
